Seoul Go Small 11 Laptop Backpack Review
Seoul Go Small has been one of the leading manufacturers of modern laptop backpacks for years. Their designs and quality have won so many awards, including multiple “Best Buy” awards from top industry insiders like Consumer Reports and InStyle. They also routinely receive high marks from respected consumer magazines like CNET. With their award-winning designs and top-quality materials, it’s no surprise that their backpacks consistently sell out in stores across the country. This is especially true if you plan on traveling with a large portable computer, which will inevitably need a heavy-duty case to protect it from the elements when you’re not using it.
I recently bought a Seoul Go Small 11 Laptop Backpack to take with me on an international flight. As I opened the laptop backpack, I was surprised at how attractive and elegant it was, even though the color of the leather was slightly gray. I expected something along the lines of a typical Samsonite laptop backpack, but I was surprised at how nice it looked and felt despite its size. In fact, it seemed more compact than most traditional laptop backpacks I’ve seen and had a very modern design to it. From the outside, the backpack seemed to stand out: thick, solid leather stitched onto a black, nylon and velour combination upper. Inside, it was neatly packed, yet there was enough room that I wasn’t afraid of having to keep it all my belongings inside it!
The biggest draw for me was the fact that it was designed for travel, yet at the same time, was very functional as a laptop backpack. There were plenty of compartments for my things, including several smaller ones that I could store documents and smaller laptop accessories in, without cluttering my main compartment. On the bottom, there was a mesh pocket that provided excellent ventilation, while also allowing the bag to carry my textbooks, files, and other items without wrinkling or bending over. On the front of the bag, there were plenty of pockets for my small electronic devices such as cameras, cell phones, iPod, and other items. There was even an inside zip pocket, which I found extremely handy for my travel documents and important files.
